Congratulations to Alex Rendon-Perez from 10th-grade Horizon Science Academy Columbus High on being selected for NASA’s perseverance reward. Along with this reward, Alex will get the following:
- a special message sent directly from the Perseverance rover on Mars
- chat with the rover team members from the mission at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California
- get an award pack of mission materials
During the event, our student, Alex, talked to the perseverance rover mission scientists from NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab, Pasadena, California along with 20 other students across the nation. He was the only one selected from Ohio.
The “You’re Got Perseverance!”. The award is an excellent opportunity for students who have demonstrated perseverance in their academic pursuits.
