Columbus Division of Police and other central Ohio departments got together to gather some warm winter coats for the kids. CPD Officer Myisha Fulton delivered several of the collected coats to Horizon Science Academy Columbus Elementary, where all the kids were super grateful and excited to receive a jacket.
Tonya Kelly, a fourth-grade teacher at HSA Columbus Elementary helps the community with her nonprofit group Empower Our Youth Foundation. She learned about Officer Fulton through Starfish Assignments and worked together to bring warm winter jackets for the kids.
As mentioned by the Starfish Assignemtn founder and president Nicole Banks, “Events like these are why it’s so great for companies like AEP Ohio to be involved in our communities”.
