English Language Development

With more than 16% of our student population being English Language Learners as of Fall 2022, the Concept Schools ELD Department is dedicated to meeting the needs of all its students who are learning English as an additional language. Through a culturally responsive lens, our ELD teachers focus on identifying students in need and working through a variety of means to help their scholars meet their language needs in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, sometimes through assisting within a general education classroom and other times by direct instruction to our students.
